Glory is like the edge of a knife. Step aside and you'll fall to the pits, walk on it for too long and you'll cut yourself open. One could say that Alhambra was one of this system's victims. Cuba is a harsh place to grow up in, but if you have been gifted with some talent you might climb your way out of the gutter and into glory. Alhambra found out in his early teens that his conjunction of agility, cunning and muscle made him a proper candidate to become a boxer, and he devoted his whole life to pursue that goal.

Sponsored by the Cuban Government, he fought his way up the ladder, becoming twice the Middleweight Champion of the world, and he seemed destined to reign as one of the most prominent boxers of history, until that fateful day where a hard blow to the face crushed his right eye and scarred his face. Half-blind and twisting in pain, he won the fight but had to retire and end his career. After that, he found himself without a penny, having to repay a non-existent debt with the Castro administration.

Since the US weren't too welcoming towards piss-poor Cuban immigrants, Alhambra set sail to San Guzmán, where his wits and his ruthlessness made him become the kingpin of the archipelago. Now, he's the most wanted man in the islands, but both the Governor and the Latour family will have to learn to fear him...
